Uploading .csv files of R&D costs
To upload a .csv file of staff, EPW or subcontractor costs to a claim, you must be logged into the WhisperClaims system using either:
The user to which the client is allocated, or
An account that has access to view All clients & claims
If you need to upload costs to a claim for a client who is not currently allocated to you, you must ask an administrator to either reallocate the client to you or to give your user account All clients & claims access.
The .csv file doesn't have to contain all of the data listed below, and can contain data not listed here. Any figures that are missing can be added manually, and extraneous data can be excluded.
To upload a .csv file:
Generate a .csv file containing the required information about the staff, EPWs or subcontractors used on the R&D projects, either manually or using the templates below.
Add a column into the .csv file with the R&D apportionment for each staff member, EPW or subcontractor for each project in figures. For example, if a staff member spent 20% of their time on relevant R&D, enter '20'.
