Downloading a claim

Downloading a claim

You can download your report from the WhisperClaims system in either fixed Adobe™ PDF file or editable Microsoft™ Word format; if you choose the latter you can edit the report into your own format and add content as you see fit. For example, you can add content to make sure that your clients’ more complex projects are fully covered, but this is not necessary for most claims.

You can also download the Additional Information Form (AIF) output, which is a text file containing all of the information needed to fill out the AIF in the order it appears in the form. It is designed for you to simply copy and paste the information into HMRC's form.

If you choose to download the editable version of the report and make changes, you are responsible for any errors, inaccuracies or inconsistencies introduced by any changes you make.

The process to download the report depends on how you have chosen to pay for it:

  • If you set up your account to pay per report by credit card or direct debit, click the button to pay for the report

  • If you have pre-paid for one or more reports, click the  button

You can then click the  button to download the Word version, the  button to download the PDF version or the Screenshot 2023-08-04 at 12-08-52-pngto download the AIF output. These reports will continue to be available until you delete the client from the WhisperClaims system.

The report’s structure is based on 15 years’ experience of working in R&D tax relief consultancy. The content is based on the information provided by both you and the client. If you want to add more content, such as diagrams, photos or further detail, then you can do this by downloading the editable Word version.

To return to the home screen for the client, click the  button.
