Flagging a question

Flagging a question

The WhisperClaims app gives you the ability to flag any question within the claim form as needing further attention. This could be used to communicate with collaborators, indicate where the answer is uncertain, or indicate answers that need more thought. This feature prevents users finalising a claim until all of the flagged questions have been resolved.

To add a flag to a question, you must be logged into the WhisperClaims system using either:

  • The user to which the client is allocated, or

  • An account that has access to view All clients & claims

If you need to work on a claim for a client who is not currently allocated to you, you must ask an administrator to either reallocate the client to you or to give your user account All clients & claims access.

To flag to a question:

  1. Locate the claim you want to work on, either through the  link or the client view

  2. Click the   button

  3. Navigate to the question you wish to flag.

See Working through a claim for more about navigating through the claim form

  4. Click the Screenshot 2022-10-06 at 13.48.02 icon
The icon changes colour and becomes Screenshot 2022-10-06 at 13.49.27

To view which questions have flags

  1. Locate the claim you want to work on, either through the  link or the client view

  2. Click the   button

  3. The left-hand menu displays a Screenshot 2022-10-06 at 13.51.27icon for each section that has been flagged.

To remove a flag from a question

    1. Locate the claim you want to work on, either through the  link or the client view

    2. Click the   button

    3. Navigate to the flagged question you want to remove the flag from.

See Working through a claim for more about navigating through the claim form

A claim cannot be finalised while there are outstanding flags. All flags must be removed before a claim can be finalised.
